Well the time has definitely come....the Winduss household needs some more dosh!!! The reality of living on one wage for the second year in a row is just getting a bit too ridiculous to mention. Put it this way, my spending spree this weekend consisted of me splashing around the grand total of $8.00 at Veronica's Pantry....it felt good - yes - but just wasn't enough to give me that 'I've spent shitloads of money and bugger the expense' feeling that I was really looking for.
Sooooo, I've been thinking of ways to bring in just a little bit extra to tide us over until I rejoin the workforce (god knows when that may be).
My idea was to put the word out that I would provide a sort of 'occasional care' type of service, whereby parents could drop their toddlers off at our place for a couple of hours, when parents need to shop/ a break/ go to movies etc. The kids would have a play (we can go outside out the front, so dogs won't be an issue), do some simple activities and have a fun time, then parents can pick them up! I was thinking of charging $10.00 an hour, and probably having a limit of 4 or 5 hours depending on what parents need. I've got loads of experience working with children, and have a degree qualification (Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies), so I'm hoping that would be a selling point with people who don't know me!
So anyway, I was hoping that you guys would help me out on my quest for cash, by giving me some feedback on whether this would be a facility that you, or your friends/family etc may use, and what you think about the cost etc..... any ideas would be greatly appreciated, so please let me know.
On that note, I'm off to watch some tv....It's been great to see you guys recently and we are definitely back in the game as far as catching up is concerned, so we will c u soon :)

Sounds great Ange...I will prob make use of you too! I often need an hour here or there to get stuff done, mostly school work!
I have some pics of the girls from the other day. I will process them and put them up asap.....some of them look pretty good.(I think!)
