Man I've only missed one week and I already feel like it's been ages. So catching up after work one night will be great. And it's been a real life time since I've seen some of y'all so I'm keen to see how you are all doing.
Work is going really well. They told me the other day that when my contract runs out in December that I will 95% be kept on. I'm enjoying it but at the moment I am feeling well out of my depth... like what I was doing before this job was just faffing about and now I'm really working. I'm pumping like a mad cow but haven't been getting enough to keep Issy going so Karl purchased some formula to top up each feed, which makes me feel like shit. And to make matters worse Issy has been rejecting my boob when I try to give it to her, which makes me feel very sad, and it's stupid because she gets 3 boobs a day and 3 bottles but I think drinking from a bottle is easier than waiting for the milk to let down... she just cries until it does and because she's crying she's not trying so it takes even longer and frustrates us both. But Karl is going to speak to Eunice (new Mary) on Monday and hopefully we can work it out.
I wonder if you'd also like to try to catch up one weekend so we can all be there (and perhaps try to update the photo on our page). I can't believe that we haven't all been together since then to take a new photo. We could meet one Sunday afternoon at the Little Train in Eltham (http://www.dvr.com.au/home.htm). It runs from 11am-5pm on Sundays and is free for under 2, and $3 for over 2's. Is there a convenient Sunday before the next birth? Lauren's the next right? So what about Sunday 10 August?
Also, do you all know about:
The Diamond Valley Toy Library Market
9am-noon
Saturday 2 August
Bundoora Hall, Noorong Ave
Hope we see each other soon.
