Who slapped Red's face?

Hi guys,

Just writing to let you know that Red has caught a highly contagious virus, known as Slapped Face, that isn't much of a worry to our children but thought you might like to know about it. It is a bit of a worry to pregnant mums (but Ange I think you should be fine, you haven't spent much time with Red and you haven't been licking him like I did this morning!). I have attached two links to info sheets from the Vic Gov website. The first is general info, the second is about pregant women.

So, this means that we will be in quarantine until further notice. Therefore, we will not be able to host Parent's Group here this week. We might need to go even more high tech and get webcams so that those of us who have to stay home can participate in a live stream... but maybe that's just taking things too far!

Alll in all we've had a bummer of a day. Boo went to the vet = a million dollars later and a life time on special vet pet food, and I went to a skin specialist and that cost a million dollars and I have to go back again in 3mths, and I hate needles and had to have a blood test!! But at least Red is doing ok, he's fine really but a bit quite and a little off his food but all in all he's good.

Also, before I go, if you are sick of bank fees (esp. over drawn fees or not enough funds fees) then check out the Choice magazine website FairFees (just google it). They provide info on how to get your money back.

Anyway, that's my rave for the day. Hope we can leave the house some time in the next forever and see you soon.

Cheers, Deb
